Job overview
An exciting opportunity is now available to join our Colposcopy team within Cardiff and Vale UHB.
As a qualified Nurse Colposcopist, you will work autonomously and undertake an independent practitioner-led diagnostic and therapeutic role using your highly advanced clinical judgement.
Main duties of the job
1. Run nurse-led clinics, managing a clinical caseload, whilst adhering to CSW, BSCCP and local guidelines with accountability for professional actions.
2. Attending MDT.
3. Engaging in audit and service improvement.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse.
* BSCCP Registered Colposcopist.
* Current NMC Registration.
* Knowledge of CANISC system.
Experience
* Sufficient years relevant post registration experience in women's health.
* Demonstrates up to date knowledge and expertise in Colposcopy.
* BSCCP registered Trainer.
Skills
* Evidence of excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
* Able to work without supervision.
* Involvement in audit and research.
Personal Qualities
* Membership of the BSCCP.
* Evidence of ability to motivate, influence change, support staff and evaluate services.
* Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
