The Connected Talent Management System team, part of Global Talent Management & Compensation (GTMC) is looking for a Front-End Engineer to join the engineering team in Edinburgh as part of a strategic investment to build technology that will enable Amazon to adopt the most scientific approach to talent management. Our team builds intelligent solutions that offer a consumer-grade user experience and uses science to manage performance of Amazon’s talent base of more than a million employees. Our engineering team’s scope include but not limited to user experience design, micro front-end development, micro-service development, big data engineering and machine learning. In GTMC we are building intelligence that will enable Amazon to retain its unique “Day One” company culture whilst continuing to grow its talent base. As a Front-End Engineer, you will join a team of engineers to lead the design and development of user experiences that implement the Connected Talent Management team’s 3 year vision. As part of this team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing intuitive front-end interfaces that integrate seamlessly with efficient back-end systems, transforming talent experiences for Amazon employees and managers. You will collaborate within and across the organisation to invent and simplify solutions to Amazon’s hardest problems on measuring, managing and maintaining the performance of its workforce.
