You will support BAES-SM production of the safety BuildAssurance Justification Be able to review and ascertain the appropriateness ofthe Safety Argument and Safety Evidence provided by BAE and ensurethat the platform is being built to designintent You will liaise with the Barrow Safety AssuranceManager on any concessions where the Platform build differs fromdesign intent Play a key part in acting as the MOD technical liaisonwith Platform and Nuclear Propulsion buildcommittees You will help to provide the safety interface with thepropulsion/reactor/ships/weapons Test Groups
Your skillsand experiences:
Be able to demonstrate strongstakeholder management skillsets and experiences with senior boardlevels You will have gained programmemanagement experience Previous experience in buildassurance or maritime platforms of complexsystems You will have gained goodexperience of technical risk management/governanceprocedures Hold a degree within a STEMsubject

The SafetyTeam: The Dreadnought Alliance is acollaboration between Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems (BAES) and theMinistry of Defence to deliver the ‘Dreadnought Class SSBN’programme. The scope of the Dreadnought Programme is the deliveryof four SSBNs to the Royal Navy to maintain Continuous At SeaDeterrence (CASD).
