Here's what you'll be doing
The Data Services Manager is responsible for providing a commercial Data function (Data Collection, Data Retrieval, Data Aggregation, and Meter Administrator functions) to I&C's metering portfolio for the Advanced market. Key responsibilities include:
1. Deliver Data Collector (DC), Data Aggregator (DA), and Data Retrieval (DR) operations on behalf of I&C.
2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry targets and requirements in relation to DC, DA, and DR service delivery.
3. Validate pre-billing of half-hourly data and ensure it aligns with settlement information.
4. Establish robust interfaces with core service teams and market-facing teams.
5. Develop a framework for managing issues leading to the misalignment of settlement and billing volumes.
6. Deliver accurate, timely billing in line with forecast, customer, and contractual expectations for off-supply customers.
7. Manage exceptions, customer billing queries, manual billing, account maintenance, and account changes for off-supply customers.
8. Develop strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Lead, develop, and motivate teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
10. Act as a key advisor on metering strategy to senior leadership.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. Knowledge of the energy markets and associated regulatory and legal frameworks.
2. Ability to operate within a highly complex and rapidly changing market.
3. Experience in negotiating with and managing outsourced contracts.
4. Ability to analyse and interpret complex data to optimize financial and service performance.
5. Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
