Reed Business Support are recruiting for a Customer Service professional with a background in manufacturing, who thrives in a dynamic, target-driven environment. Day-to-day of the role: Provide pre-sales technical expertise to a diverse cultural range of global clients. Input technical details into bid proposals, projects, and technical documents within the sales process, identifying additional sales opportunities with existing customers. Collaborate with the global business development team to recommend products and services that meet customers' requirements. Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the SBU and competitors' products and/or services. Manage customer meetings effectively, including taking and issuing minutes to ensure all requirements are captured and communicated. Handle bid clarifications through to completion, ensuring they are closed out prior to bid completion and communicated to both internal and external teams. Manage Terms and Conditions discussions with the nominated legal representative from FFL. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service role within a manufacturing environment; Proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines, with the ability to work well under pressure. Detail-oriented with the ability to work with figures and calculations. Confidence in reading and understanding technical drawings. Experience using SAP is an advantage.
