Job Title: Tool Room Engineer
Location: Telford
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off days 06:00 - 18:00
Role
To undertake a wide variety of Engineering tasks within the workshop environment.
Responsibilities
1. Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
2. Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
3. Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
4. Promote and Display the Epwin Core Values.
5. Interpret Engineering drawings to conduct repairs and modifications on Extrusion tooling
6. Utilise workshop machinery such as CNC wire eroders and Milling machine, laser welder, vertical milling machines, centre lathe and surface grinders.
7. Assist when required with any tooling matters.
8. Complete tasks on time and efficiently.
9. Ensure quality is achieved through attention to detail.
10. Work with minimum supervision.
11. Work within a team Environment.
12. Maintain a very high level of housekeeping at all times in the workshop and around machines.
13. Understand written and verbal instructions.
14. Endeavor to find new ways of doing things and learn from past experiences.
15. To look to improve working practices, systems and processes in the tool room.
16. Maintain good communication with your colleagues at all times.
17. Adhere to company policies, systems of work and procedures at all times.
18. Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards covering your job.
19. Be prepared to undertake other reasonable duties as required.

Skills/Abilities
31. Level 3 qualification in Engineering
32. Engineering aptitude.
33. Experience of CNC wire erosion and laser welding (Preferable)
34. Good level of numeracy and literacy.
35. Ability to use a PC to an operational level.
36. Time served apprentice (preferable)
