Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire and challenge students to develop their scientific knowledge, practical skills, and analytical thinking.
Adapt teaching methods to support a diverse range of learners and abilities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive school environment.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold QTS, a PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, student-centred lessons.
Possess excellent classroom management skills and set high expectations for all students.
Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
