Job summary Morley and District Primary Care Network are recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to join our PCN Clinical Pharmacy Team. This is a new and exciting role, and will help shape and form the layout of our local healthcare offer in Morley, Leeds. The suitable candidate should be passionate about making a difference in primary care and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team across services. Duties will include dealing with prescription queries, synchronisation of repeat medications, processing discharge summaries/clinic letters, supporting project development of the services, undertaking clinical audits and promoting best prescribing practice within the surgeries where they are based. The post holder will work as part of a growing team of health care professionals across the seven practices in Morley and District to deliver health and medicines optimisation interventions at a neighbourhood population level. Main duties of the job The candidate will be expected to take a lead role in supporting the PCN Pharmacy Team and our member practices.
