Job Title: Year 1 Teacher - Burscough Location: Burscough, Lancashire, North West England Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Salary: £140 - £190 Per Day Job Duties: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 students Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to parents and senior staff Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school events Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Previous experience teaching Year 1 students preferred Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate young learners Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working with diverse student populations Working Conditions: Part-Time role with flexible hours Temporary position with potential for extension Classroom-based teaching in a primary school setting All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
