Future Prospects Group are delighted to be working with our client from within the manufacturing industry who are actively recruiting for a Accounts Administrator on a Part-time, permanent basis to join their team.
As a Financial Administrator you will be responsible for the administration of purchase ledger, credit control & banking. This role offers the opportunity of training and development for the right candidate.
THE ROLE
Your responsibilities as a Accounts Administrator will include:
* Manage financial transactions and bank reconciliation.
* Match delivery notes to invoices and send for approval.
* Manage PayPal account and send purchase orders to suppliers.
* Weekly data and cash forecasts for SMT.
* Process bi-weekly supplier payments and review invoices on Sage.
* Send monthly customer statements and manage expense claims.
* Handle credit control and debt recovery.
* Produce accounting reports and assist during audits/year-end.
* Month-end preparation and authorize invoices.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Accounts Administrator will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
* AAT or equivalent qualification at a minimum of L2 (or working towards) – is desirable or qualified through experience.
* Strong numerical skills.
* Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365.
* Strong understanding of accounts functions.
* Experienced in Sage 50 (purchase/accounts and sales).
* Experienced in using online banking for business purposes.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
