The eHospital Training team is looking for a Principal Trainer (Nursing) to join the team.
The eHospital training team is responsible for ensuring that all staff at our hospitals’ (Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie) receive appropriate training and support in the use of our electronic patient record held on Epic.
Our vision for the future is one where technology supports the everyday work of doctors, nurses, technicians, managers and patients. To succeed, this vision must be supported by a programme of training which equips staff to make the best use of technology in caring for our patients.
As the eHospital Principal Trainer for Nursing, you will embark upon a training programme to become qualified in at least one Epic Curriculum development application and will work as part of the eHospital Training Team.
You will communicate regularly with clinicians, specialists and other relevant staff, listening to and analysing their training needs.
You will help to build and test the training system thoroughly to ensure that it is safe, usable, secure and robust to ensure it works as expected.
You will design and update training materials to match changes in the production environment.
You will also provide support to end-users through regular meetings and by participating in a floorwalking rota where required.
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to engage and influence people at all levels and demonstrate a passion for education, teaching and learning.
