Role Overview:
As the Clinical Lead for PHL Healthcare’s Primary Care Services (Winchester urgent care clinic and Havant & Waterlooville enhanced access), you will provide professional medical leadership and drive clinical excellence.
You will be accountable for delivering safe, high-quality services and play a key role in improving care and shaping our organisational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire your medical team, fostering a culture of trust, compassion, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure clinical governance and professional standards are upheld, in line with PHL’s governance framework and medical regulations.
* Support the team’s development through mentoring, audit feedback, and ensuring compliance with mandatory training.
* Lead on recruitment, induction, and development of medical staff, ensuring they are fully qualified and equipped to deliver their roles.
Skills and Experience:
* Extensive experience in Primary Care and urgent care settings (e.g., Urgent Treatment Centre, Out of Hours).
* Proven Clinical Leadership experience, working effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
* Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
* Experience in audit and enhancing patient care standards.
Essential Qualifications:
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree
* Full GMC registration
* JCPTGP/PMETB certification
* Inclusion on the Performers List
* MRCGP
Hours:
Flexible Hours – 6 Hours of administration per week
Shifts Available from: 18:00 – 21:00/18:30 – 23:00
Saturday and Sunday availability 08:00 – 18:00
