PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
Supporting the Head of Merchandising with the strategic priorities for the business and working closely with the merchandising team and wider business whilst at the same time managing the operations team to deliver key timely data required across the business. You will be responsible for managing a team of people who will ensure a smooth transition of product to every channel where White Stuff is stocked. The role is highly cross functional and supports all channels and functions of the business.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
1. Business Critical path ownership covering all channels and functions
1. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth delivery of the critical path.
2. Weekly Reporting of Critical path milestones, KPIs, Launch Tracker and rolling key business documents.
3. Leading weekly critical path meetings and working closely with the leadership team to ensure key milestones are achieved.
2. Data Enrichment
1. Leading the operations team to ensure accurate and timely completion of data distribution.
2. Ensuring timely data distribution is complete for all products for all channels including asset management and data management.
3. Building a relationship with 3rd party partners including hitting key deadlines.
4. Working cross functionally with buying, marketing, studio and merch.
3. Merch Planning
1. Ownership of the high-level Merchandising KPI’s and working closely with the wider merchandising team to ensure this is delivered.
2. An expert in the WSSI, spotting trends and risks and communicating to the leadership team, alongside this accurate DC forecasting is required.
3. Working closely with the DC to ensure targets are met and identify any issues.
4. Markdown management working with our 3rd party partners.
5. Topline oversee Markdown, promotional and clearance plans as well as working closely with the Outlet Trading Manager to support clearance of Old stock.
6. Working closely with the finance team to ensure key KPI’s are achieved.
4. Strategic Projects
1. Working closely with the Head of Merchandising to develop key strategic projects to maximise sales and margin, working across multiple functions and presenting back to the senior leadership team.
5. Trading
1. Analyse sales performance and Identify opportunities for growth.
2. Drive in-season trading working closely with the Buying & Merchandising Teams.
3. Deputising for the Head of Merchandising when required.
