We are recruiting for an initiative-taking IPS Employment Specialist to support unemployed customers with mental health and additional barriers to work.
* You will manage a caseload and develop personalized support plans to help customers secure employment and return to the workplace.
* You will work closely with customers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored support.
* You will identify and address any barriers to employment, such as mental health issues or lack of skills, and provide guidance and resources to help customers overcome these challenges.
* You will maintain accurate records of customer progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
* You will work as part of a team to deliver employment services and contribute to the continuous improvement of these services.
Key Requirements:
* Experience of working with vulnerable adults, particularly those with mental health issues.
* Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good understanding of employment law and current employment initiatives.
What We Offer:
* A competitive salary of £27,000 - £28,500 per annum.
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
