As an Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
* Strategic Planning
Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organisational goals. Collaborate with senior management to align operations with overall business objectives.
Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of operational staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
* Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency. Implement best practices to enhance operational performance. Continuously monitor and evaluate processes for improvement.
* Budget Management
Develop and manage operational budgets. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in operations.
* Quality Assurance
Implement and monitor quality control processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Vendor and Supplier Management
Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favourable terms.
* Communication and Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Communicate operational updates and key metrics to leadership.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar Operations Manager role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution.
* Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
