Position Information
Position Title: Office Assistant, Student Success and Engagement - $8.00/hour

Work Period: Fall, Spring
Hours Per Week: Up to 10 hours between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday (no weekend hours) and as it fits your student schedule. We are flexible and will work with you each semester.
Position Description
Position Summary: This position works only Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, as it works with your class schedule, no more than 10 hours per week. This position assists with general office duties including: spreadsheet composition and maintenance, copying, researching policies and programs, internet searches, social media management, mail delivery, special projects, running errands on campus, assisting with division photo organization and slideshow, and assisting with the annual student handbook update.
Qualifications
Experience Required: Experience with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with social media and Canva preferred. Some office experience preferred but not necessary.
Skills and Characteristics: Ability to work independently, handle confidential material, produce accurate work, and act professionally. Confidence to work with a variety of professionals.
Dress Code Requirements: Dress appropriately for an office environment (no exercise clothing, etc).
Primary Duties
1. General office duties including: proofing correspondence, spreadsheet composition, filing, copying, shredding, some phone answering.
2. Edit documents and assist in annual student handbook update.
3. Research policies, programs, internet searches/social media postings, telephone surveys.
4. Handle special projects, run errands on campus.
5. Pick up and deliver mail.
6. Use Canva to create various promotional items for special events/projects.
7. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
