Job Description:
Leader Education are recruiting a Science Teacher for a Secondary academy based in Blyth, Northumberland. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator with a strong subject expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.
This role is Monday-Friday to cover all three principles of science, with some general cover lessons.
Requirements
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications
* A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one
* Previous experience as a Science Teacher
* Ability to effectively deliver the Science curriculum, offering support, advice, and guidance to pupils
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with pupils, colleagues, parents and other professionals
* Adaptability and initiative to accommodate for various learning types and abilities, striving towards social and academic development
* High expectations and aspirations for young people and themselves
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high quality lessons
* Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils of all different abilities
* Communicate with pupils, teachers, and other members of staff
* Build effective relationships with parents/carers, sharing information regarding pupil's progress, behaviour and well-being
* Take responsibility for pupils' educational development, ensuring equal provision for all
