Job summary
We are a small but busy team in gynaecology outpatients, who work cohesively with the Consultants, advanced practitioners and Service Managers providing a dynamic, innovative, comprehensive and caring service for patients and their carers.Clinics are busy and varied and continually expanding.Supporting Consultants and Clinical Nurse Specialists in a variety of Gynaecology, urogynaecology, Colposcopy, Ambulatory Care and Rapid Access will be the patient advocate, responsible for preparing clinics and administrative support.Supporting junior colleagues who maybe undergoing support training and development and advancement in the role.

Main duties of the job
To support patients, by demonstrating exemplar nursing practice and the implementation of evidence-based care, the provision of a high standard ofindividualised patient care and experience, upholding the Trust Nursing Strategy which includes the 6Cs.
Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs.
Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.

Providing care and support to patient's undergoing procedures.Managing junior staff.Providing support to Unit manager with administrative duties.
Preparing clinics, setting up operative equipment for minor procedures and investigations.Supporting Clinicians in operative clinics and general Gynaecology administrative work, preparing notes, coordinating unit when Senior staff absent.Answering patient helpline small friendly supportive team who are passionate about women's health
