Salary: £54,793 depending on skills and experience What you'll be doing: Responsible for a range of people and capability activities supporting the Air Procurement team located in the UK and KSA Acting as the focal point for the KSA based Procurement team, for all Air Procurement Functional Excellence team activities, including but not limited to Functional Governance, our Digital Strategy and our Environmental, Social and Governance agenda working in conjunction with the KSA based People Capability team to implement an aligned approach to our People Capability key pillars Learning and Development, Resourcing and Early Careers Responsible for ensuring regular resource and people reviews are embed across the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia Procurement enterprise Facilitating and coordinating briefings, training and awareness session for the KSA community, drawing on both internal and external subject matter experts to support Responsible for engaging with the Human Resource teams, Learning and Development Teams and Business Resource Planning teams to ensure that the KSA People and Capability strategy is fully integrated with the rest of the immediate business You will be expected to undertake planned travel to KSA on a bi-monthly basis, as well as ad hoc travel to meet emergent business needs Your skills and experiences: Skills and experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with a desire and passion to learn about and experience a different culture and undertake regular travel A degree or equivalent level qualification in a business or people and capability related subject Evidence of strong and effective people management skills specifically when dealing with resourcing, training, development and coaching A proven ability to collaborate, fostering close & trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to drive high standards of performance Strong planning and management skills and an ability to work independently on tasks and collaborate as part of a team A Continuous Improvement mind-set with proven examples of identifying new ideas that drive improvement, problem solving and working collaboratively with others to identify a solutions Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. The Air Procurement Functional Excellence team: The Air Procurement Functional Excellence team is responsible for People and Capability initiatives, Functional Governance, Digital Strategy, Risk and Opportunity Management and Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives. In this role you will have the opportunity to influence and deliver Functional Excellence initiatives, specifically our KSA People and Capability strategy, whilst acquiring an in depth understanding of our KSA footprint.
