Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist | Spire Norwich Hospital | Weekend shifts required | We are looking for someone that has the capacity to cover mainly weekends. There will be the opportunity for additional weekday shifts in addition to support cover for A/L/Sickness etc Spire Norwich Hospital holds a long-standing reputation for providing high quality, comprehensive private hospital care. We have 4 theatres, 2 wards, comprising of 50 beds, and deliver a range of outpatient services through our busy and dynamic outpatient and diagnostic imaging departments providing a progressive and stimulating environment for our highly motivated team. The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others. Duties and responsibilities: - To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice to patients within an inpatient setting. - To work as an integrated member of the physiotherapy team whilst independently managing a clinical caseload of mainly orthopaedic patients. - To liaise in an effective and timely manner with referrers regarding patient progress and any future management. - Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing. - To contribute towards service development projects as part of a wider departmental strategy.
