We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our After Sales team.
Working remotely and based around the M42 corridor, the role is to attend service calls and breakdowns in the South of England (area from South of Birmingham).

This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours Monday to Friday; due to the nature of the role, working hours must be flexible.

As this is a senior role, reporting into the Operations Director, you will manage a small team and will have full responsibility and autonomy for inventory control through the manufacturing cycle, optimising production levels and increasing profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To carry out maintenance and repair services on Bespoke Infinity and Synergy curved and straight stairlift products, in clients’ homes, care homes, and sheltered housing settings, to conduct surveys, and to carry out occasional installations where necessary.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
* Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance and Installation or previous relevant experience.
* Full clean driving licence
* DBS Certificate
* Precision, attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
* Experience to conduct surveys desirable (although full training will be given)
* Good written and verbal skills
* Ability to problem solve
* Excellent communication and customer service skills with a compassionate nature and the ability to demonstrate and explain stairlift mechanics to clients.
* Polite and well presented in this customer facing role
* Previous experience of stairlift service and maintenance preferable
* Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical engineering
