Are you a Quality Engineer / Manager looking to work on a unique infrastructure scheme for the next couple of years?
I am working with a client who is seeking Quality Engineers and Managers to manage and oversee a civil engineering contractor delivering a package of work. Ideally, the right person will have expert knowledge in ITPs, site documentation as well as having the ability to oversee and police another contractor on-site, constantly checking if they are adhering to contractual regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a civil engineering degree.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Manage and communicate to the Client Quality Managers any non-conformances.
* Ensure that quality management is a priority in the delivery of the contractor's day-to-day operations.
* Communicate with the client and the contractor to ensure full understanding of quality assurance requirements.
* Carry out formal surveillance to ensure that inspections and tests are carried out in line with the inspection and test plans.
* Check the works from start to finish to ensure that it has been constructed in line with the contract and the required documentation is produced.
* Be proactive in preventing standards from slipping below expectation.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A degree in civil engineering or construction management (or equivalent).
* A CSCS card (compulsory).
* SMSTS (desirable).
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to demonstrate previous experience gained in a similar role.
