Introduction We require an Internal Sales Representative to join our busy Internal Sales Team, based at our site in Abercynon, South Wales. To assist with the development and growth if the business by supporting the exisiting and perspective customers of the AB Connectors brand of products and services whilst maintaining a high level of customer service, ensuring that tasks are professionally completed. Key Responsibilities Respond in a timely manner to telephone, email and postal enquiries and orders. Ensure correct responses are communicated by liaising with the various company departments. Provide customers with technical and commerical information as requested, safeguarding the best interests of TT Electronics at all times. Enter and amend customer orders onto the system, verifying price, part numbers and delivery dates. Acknowledge same to customers. Record customers enquiries and ensure that requests for information, literature, samples etc are carried out. Ensure that the relevant External Sales Manager or Business Development Manager is copied with all pertinent information pertaining to enquiries. Progress customer quotations when requested and ensure that External Sales are kept informed on feedback and actions required. Progress customer orders when requested and ensure that customers are kept informed of any delays that may occur. Maintain a professional level of office administration with regard to filling orders, quotes, customer records etc. Ensure that customer accounts are created for new customers. Liaise regulary with the External Sales Manager or Business Development Manager to identify new business and product opportunities. Be prepared to offer suggestions to improve the current operation of the sales team. Attend company meetings, seminars, trade shows and customer visits as required by the business. Provide support to the other members of the internal sales team as required. Other sales duties as and when required. Personnel & Skills Specification Educated to GCSE or A Level standard. Experience of customer services in a manufacturing environment. The ability to liaise and commincate with personnel of all levels within the company. Computer literate with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Attention to detail and accurate. Good literacy and numeracy skills Conscientious, flexible and self motivated. Professional manner, confident dealing with customer queries either face to face or on the telephone. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Previous customer sales experience preferred.
