The DIC will join our Systems Integration team within our Digital Consulting business. Our Systems Integration (SI) team operate across UK; therefore, the role can be based at any of the following UK offices; Aberdeen, Staines, Reading, Glasgow or Northampton on a hybrid basis. Please note applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check. The Role In this role, the Design Interface Coordinator will be responsible for managing the delivery of discrete subcontract packages across multiple vendors, ensuring alignment with agreed designs. You will join the project engineering team, directly supporting the Design Interface Manager / Lead to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of projects according to agreed specifications and budgets. This role will also involve supporting the project engineering team in the day-to-day administration and delivery of projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a Design Interface Coordinator with a proven track record in delivering critical scopes across EPC projects within the Energy or heavy industry sectors. * Contributes to the Project Execution Plan, Discipline Design Instruction and Contract requisitions; prepares project plans and multi-discipline documents such as basis of design, subcontract scopes of work
* Able to manage and coordinate engineering multidiscipline inputs and deliverables across multiple execution centres including workshare / high value engineering centres Knowledge, skills and experience
* Fully understands technical work scopes including commercial aspects and has working knowledge of specifications and standards
* Understands the concept of customer satisfaction and is able to deliver to internal customers, including other Engineering disciplines
* Understands and knows how to apply the procedures and work practices which define and govern Engineering Management and Project Engineering deliverables
* Commercially astute and able to implement Change control
Has a good knowledge of standards, procedures and work practices; follows project execution flow chart; good skills in project and technical execution
* Able to lead Project Engineering team; able to manage between Engineering Discipline Groups

* Bachelor's degree or a master's degree in an engineering discipline
* Previous experience working in a project delivery environment
* Previous experience in peer review of EPC scopes across the Energy or heavy industry sectors
* Strong planning, organising and execution skills
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels of the business
Desirable:
* Professional Engineer or engineering chartership preferred
