Job Title: Senior Manager of Partnerships

This pivotal role requires a unique blend of commercial acumen, legal understanding, and cultural sensitivity, especially when engaging with Far East customers
The successful candidate will play a critical part in driving business growth and fostering strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
• Relationship Management:
o Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders within strategic partnerships
o Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely and effective communication.
o Proactively identify and address both internal and external stakeholder needs and concerns, acting as their advocate within the organization.
o Build a deep understanding of customer business objectives and strategies to identify development opportunities

• Commercial Strategy:
o Delivery of contracts on time to meet business needs
o Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve targets and maximize revenue and growth.
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing partnerships.
o Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and foster strategic alignment.
• Contract Negotiation & Management:
o Lead contract negotiations with partners, ensuring favourable terms and conditions while identifying and mitigating wider business risks.
o Collaborate with legal counsel to review and finalise contract agreements.
o Support ongoing contract compliance and renewals.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product, and legal teams, to develop and deliver effective customer solutions.
o Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of plans

• Market Intelligence:
o Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights, sharing relevant information with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial relationship management or sales role, ideally within a relevant industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex customer relationships and exceeding commercial targets.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of contract law and legal principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is highly advantageous.
Experience working with Far East customers and a deep understanding of Far Eastern business culture is highly desirable
