The role involves working with vulnerable adults who require help and support which could be one or a combination of the following: clinical, practical, or mental. You must follow the client’s Care Plan and follow the instructions of the Nurse Manager and will work in conjunction with colleagues, JAM Care Nurse Manager and the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team (District Nurse, Occupational Therapist, GP etc). At times you may be expected to accompany your client to visits and appointments e.g. GP, hospital, days out, shopping trips etc. and may be asked to care for your clients during any hospital stays. You will participate in training and development as required in the interests of our overall service and to meet statutory requirements. What you'll need as a Carer Support Worker: A valid right to work in the UK UK Driving licence access to a car (or a way to get to work) To live in the area and be willing to travel to the homes of our clients. Excellent communication skills.
