At Fleetwood Hall Care Home, a proud part of the Sandstone Care Group, we are searching for a compassionate and committed Night Care Practitioner to join our family. Located near the stunning Lancashire coast, our newly refurbished 62-bed home offers a modern, welcoming, and supportive environment for both our residents and team members.
Led by our experienced Manager, Joanne, we strive to provide top-tier, person-centered care in a friendly and personalized setting. Our team collaborates closely to address each resident's unique needs, interests, and preferences, ensuring they live an enriched and meaningful life.
As a Care Practitioner on Nights, your role will include:
1. Assisting residents with personal care, meals, and evening routines to ensure comfort and well-being throughout the night
2. Conducting regular safety and welfare checks on all residents
3. Accurately documenting and updating care records and reports
4. Managing and administering medications in line with care plans and policies
5. Responding promptly to residents' needs, including addressing any emergencies or changes in health
6. Supporting and assisting new or less-experienced team members during the night shift
7. Helping maintain a clean and safe environment, including performing light housekeeping tasks as needed
8. Collaborating with the day shift team for a smooth handover and continuity of care

What we're looking for:
* A caring and positive attitude
* Genuine interest in health and social care (previous experience is beneficial but not essential)
* Ability to work independently during night hours while staying alert and responsive
* Flexibility to work night shifts as required
