Construction Manager - Highways About the Role: Unite People are currently recruiting on behalf of our tier 1 civil engineering client, who are looking for a skilled Construction Manager to lead and manage all aspects of project delivery, on a flagship highways scheme. Your responsibilities will include planning and scheduling, managing teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality standards, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: Create and manage project plans and schedules to meet deadlines and budgets. Lead the project team and supply chain to deliver work safely, on time, and to a high standard. Oversee subcontractors, ensuring progress and performance align with project goals. Ensure all work complies with safety and sustainability regulations. Work closely with design teams and consultants to meet project needs. Manage resources and staffing for the project. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, handling changes and decisions effectively. Required Skills: Experience in Construction Management, preferably in highways or a related field. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Financial awareness to manage budgets and project costs. Commitment to safety and sustainability. Valid CSCS card.
