Endeavour Academy is currently looking for Teaching Assistants, the role is 34 hours per week; 39 weeks per year (Term-Time only). We can also offer a variety of additional hours through relief shifts in the residential home. IND3 About You We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic individuals who are eager to embark on an exciting and rewarding career working with children and young people with SEN and autism. Previous experience is not essential, though an understanding of SEN is desirable, as you will be working with children aged 8-19 with complex and high needs. This role is highly challenging, requiring resilience, quick thinking, and the ability to use your initiative. The job can be physically demanding and involve long days, but it's incredibly rewarding when you see the positive impact you ve made in the lives of these children. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, positive, and ambitious, ready to make a difference. No two days are the same. It is paramount that you must be an effective, confident communicator and a team player. You will be able to keep accurate records such as the recording of daily notes; mediation administration and learning outcomes with excellent attention to detail. Salaries are based on Full-Time-Equivalent and are pro-rata for part time roles. Salaries are dependent on experience with option of additional hours through the extended school provision.
