Purpose: As a EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Analyst you will lead our organization's EDI initiatives. This role will involve the design, implementation, management, and troubleshooting of complex EDI solutions to ensure seamless data exchange between the organization, its trading partners, and potentially other third-party systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of EDI standards, protocols, and best practices, along with the ability to analyze and optimize business processes through EDI solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both technical teams and non-technical customer representatives are a must. Job (requirements): EDI Solution Management - Design, implement, and manage end-to-end EDI solutions across various platforms and systems. - Develop and maintain EDI mappings, translations, and workflows to support business processes. - Ensure compliance with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML, etc.) and protocols (AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN). - Manage and support the onboarding of new trading partners, including defining requirements, testing, and deployment. - Oversee EDI system integration with ERP systems, supply chain platforms, and other internal business applications. Technical Troubleshooting and Support - Perform root cause analysis of EDI issues and implement corrective actions. - Provide technical support to internal teams and trading partners for EDI-related issues. - Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security of all EDI transactions. Process Improvement and Optimization - Recommend and implement automation solutions to reduce manual intervention in EDI processes. Documentation and Compliance - Create and maintain comprehensive EDI documentation, including mappings, processes, and partner specifications. - Ensure all EDI processes comply with industry standards and regulations. - Conduct regular audits of EDI transactions and data flows to ensure compliance. Customer Communication & Relationship Management - Serve as the primary EDI point of contact for trading partners and customers, ensuring timely and professional communication - Facilitate technical discussions with customers to gather EDI requirements and address integration needs Person (requirements): - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 5 years of hands-on experience with EDI implementations, integrations, and support. - Extensive knowledge of EDI standards and protocols, including X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, AS2, FTP, SFTP, and VAN. - Strong expertise in EDI mapping and translation tools (e.g.,TLE, Sterling Integrator, BizTalk, etc.). - Experience integrating EDI solutions with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.). - Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for data analysis and automation. - Experience with cloud-based EDI solutions (e.g., Boomi). - Knowledge of API integrations and hybrid EDI/API solutions. - Experience with automation tools and robotic process automation (RPA) in EDI processes. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
