A client of mine is looking to recruit a Facilities and Estates Coordinator to work for them 30 hours a week Monday - Friday. Hours can be discussed and the employer can be flexible. Using your technical experience, knowledge, and skills you will assist the Estate Managers and wider team to ensure that you provide a "safety first" culture complimented by safe, supportive, effective, and inclusive virtual & physical commercial spaces across all areas of operational delivery. One of three Coordinators, you will be responsible for day-to-day legislative works and effective management of contractors, while acting as first line response (via the Service Desk) as well as supporting the Estate Managers with the delivery of the service ensuring emergency planning, health, safety & environmental compliance across all workspaces. You will work collaboratively with your fellow Coordinators ensuring best practice contract management for all soft service contracts which includes, but is not limited to cleaning, stationery, catering, furniture, access control, visitor, desk & utilisation booking system, external space application and security. You will be the visible part of the Commercial Estate Team, taking responsibility for the spaces under your control while ensuring our customers, beneficiaries, colleagues & contractors are supported and enabled to get the best out of their day. Experience · Have experience of working in a Estate & / or Facilities Management role within a corporate environment. · Have experience of coordinating contracts & contractors. · Have experience of coordinating health & safety arrangements within the workspace. · Customers will be at the heart of all you do, you will have strong people skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with all key stakeholders. · Have strong organisational skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload effectively. · Have a keen interest in Commercial Estate, FM, environment and sustainability and a drive to challenge what doesn't work, to ensure our team continues to evolve to be the best we can be for the future of our organisation. · Have strong communication skills and be confident communicating with all key stakeholders, at all levels, while also being politically astute. · Be a very effective problem solver, armed with solutions. · Can respond positively and proactively to any emergency. Essential · Strong IT skills across a broad range of applications. · IOSH Managing Safely Qualification. · IWFM qualification and / or membership. · Evidence of continual personal development in relevant subject areas. · Full, clean driving licence and the ability to travel by own means to various sites. · Flexible approach to work and hours during busy periods.
