Job Description
As a Lead EC&I Engineer at Stopford, you will play a vital role in delivering excellence and best practice in the energy transition. Our business activities are at the forefront of this industry, working with clients and partners to address critical challenges like Energy Security, Environmental Sustainability, and Energy Affordability.
You will be based at our office in Knutsford with the opportunity for hybrid working. Occasional travel may be required to other offices and client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building, managing, and developing a team of EC&I engineers and designers.
* Preparing, checking, and approving design work packages, including control architecture diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, motor schematics, and more.
* Preparing, checking, and approving specifications and Scopes of Work for installation contractors and equipment suppliers.
* Direct input or oversight of onsite construction and commissioning support, depending on the project.
Requirements:
* Ideal education: degree level in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering or an associated discipline.
* Experience in Petrochemicals, Nuclear, Chemicals, Waste, or renewable energy industries.
* Experience managing in a design and engineering environment across electrical, control, and instrumentation.
What We Offer:
* Competitive salary: £80,000 - 100,000 per annum.
* Profit-related bonus payment (10%).
