The Role We are seeking a Commercial Administrator to join our team in Oldbury. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support and manage the commercial aspects of contracts. Responsibilities include reviewing completed jobs to maximize measured value and minimize costs, reporting to management, and liaising with clients and suppliers on commercial matters. This position is ideal for someone looking to enter the property maintenance industry, with clear pathways for professional growth. Responsibilities Review and approve subcontractor claims for payment after completing work orders. Raise purchase orders to capture costs promptly. Review material purchases to identify and address anomalies. Manage end-to-end valuation, applications, and account processes for all works in line with contract terms, including variations. Requirements Proactive, motivated, and able to work independently. Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and achieve targets. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Analytical mindset with great attention to detail. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience (desirable but not essential) Working in responsive or planned maintenance. Familiarity with a Schedule of Rates. Compiling reports and performing analysis.
