Job Title: Site Agent – Eastern Green Link 2 Location: Peterhead, Aberdeen Company: Principal Civil Engineering Contractor Name About the Role I am working closely with the principle contractor on the groundbreaking Eastern Green Link 2 project and we are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Agent to join the award winning team. As the Principal Civil Engineering Contractor, they are delivering a major infrastructure scheme that will enhance the UK’s renewable energy network. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a monumental project that will play a vital role in achieving the UK’s net-zero targets. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily site operations to ensure project delivery within time, budget, and quality standards. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a strong safety culture on site. Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Ensure works are carried out in accordance with design specifications and contractual obligations. Drive productivity and efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards in construction delivery. Requirements Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role within a tier 1 civil engineering contractor. Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, including earthworks, structures, and utilities. Knowledge of NEC contract management and site documentation. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Valid CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications.
