In this pivotal role, you will report to the Leadership and talent Manager and engage with key stakeholders across the organization. Work with Stakeholders and Leadership & Talent Manager to define a clear Early Careers Strategy, both reflecting business need/overall talent strategy and an attractive employment proposition which supports and elevates our brand Use external insight and networks to stay abreast of and support good practice and innovation with our early careers proposition Collaborate with our Inclusion & Diversity Manager in ensuring that our strategy and programmes support inclusivity and representation. Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of early career development and programmes, using insight to engage and drive continuous improvement Collaborate across stakeholders in engaging and providing consultancy on the progress/success/priority actions of early careers activities and programmes Work with Recruitment/HRBP’s/ Dof’s identifying early careers pathways to address skills gaps at a functional level and ensure recruitment and selection of high calibre candidates. Manage our network of early careers talent, ensuring they are connected as a cohort and receive a consistent programme experience, as well as building a sense of community. Ensure a consistent and regular drum beat of early careers talent joining the business into direct entry vacancies. Work and collaborate with L&D colleagues to build and realise learning programmes to support Early Careers colleagues, leveraging our digital learning capabilities where required Lead on Apprenticeship programmes being delivered across Head Office and our CSC, owning the relationships with 3 rd parties and working in close collaboration with the broader Apprenticeship team in tracking and managing successful completion of programme. Work in collaboration with Resourcing with early careers campaigns with Uni’s, Colleges etc. Lead on building relationships & partnerships with external organisations to build brand awareness of early careers offer and Screwfix as an early career’s employer of choice Lead on outreach with organisations and colleagues to support work placements, internships & work experience in SFX to support our early careers agenda Work with line managers and HR team to ensure early careers experience is of exceptional quality and support development and progression of colleagues. Must have experience in Early Careers activities including graduate and apprenticeship recruitment and development. Experience in recruiting/ selecting early careers candidates. Experience in managing relationships with schools, colleges and universities. Ability to multitask and work in an agile way between a number of agendas. Good listening, with strong communications skills to engage colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
