Recovery Support Worker – Female

A job opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Support Worker in Oxfordshire. This is a role working at a highly respected charity working within their supported housing services on a full-time basis.
Length: 3 months ongoing
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Kidlington, Oxfordshire
Rate of Pay: £17.25 per hour via an umbrella company PAYE
The role involves:
• Working within a residential setting with 13 women who have complex needs and/or past traumas
• Manage and develop personalised care plans for a designated caseload
• Conduct in-depth assessments to determine the level of support that is required
• Work with external agencies including clients' families and wider networks
• Take clients to appointments and cashpoints
• Create activities and interventions to encourage engagement and promote independence
• Monitor and administer clients' medication
• Produce reports on clients' well-being and ensure these are updated regularly, you will also handover to any night staff
Additional requirements:
• An Enhanced DBS from within the last year
• Experience or an interest in working with vulnerable people
• Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
