This permanent post is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take on a leadership role and has a proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our skilled and supportive team helping to drive progress in maths across the school.
Our new teacher needs to:
1. Be an inspirational teacher who is creative and innovative.
2. Have a passion for developing maths across school
3. Have a secure knowledge of the National Curriculum and pedagogy to ensure quality in teaching and learning
4. Plan rigorous and creative learning that is tailored to meet the needs of their class ensuring all pupils make good progress from their starting points
5. Be able to recognise and build on the strengths of all children whilst nurturing their wellbeing
6. To lead learning within the Curriculum Area to ensure the highest standards and outcomes are achieved for all cohorts of students and be actively involved in whole school quality assurance systems to support this
7. Take a lead role in developing and supporting maths improvements across the school
8. To be accountable for standards, achievement, assessment and subject improvements and to monitor and evaluate the work of the Curriculum Area in line with whole school policy and procedures
9. To work collaboratively with support staff, teachers, other professionals and parents/carers to enhance teaching and learning and to promote positive outcomes for all students
