Job summary A vacancy has arisen for an experienced trained chemotherapy nurse to aid in the development, education and and ongoing support to the Haematology Oncology team nursing team at Airedale General Hospital. As the Practice Educator on a busy Haematology Oncology Day Unit (HODU), the successful applicant will play a key role in providing specialist training in chemotherapy, haematology and oncology to existing and newly recruited members of the nursing team. In conjunction with the Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist, and HODU Manager, the successful applicant will assist with leading the service on the day unit within the hospital, and on the Mobile Cancer Care Units (MCCU) around the surrounding area.
