We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly clients. In this role, you will work directly with clients both in their homes and at our wellness centre, helping them achieve their physical goals and maintain their independence as they age. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring clients can live their best lives, physically and mentally, for as long as possible.

About the role : As an Exercise Physiologist with us, you will design and implement personalised exercise programs that focus on improving strength, balance, mobility, and overall health. You'll be empowering clients to lead an active lifestyle, preventing injury, and improving their overall quality of life through tailored physical activity plans that suit their individual needs.
Key responsibilities :
1. Conduct thorough assessments to develop personalised exercise programs that are safe, effective, and aligned with each client's health goals.
2. Provide one-on-one and group exercise sessions both in clients' homes and within our wellness centre.
3. Educate clients on the benefits of exercise and teach them how to incorporate physical activity into their daily lives.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care for clients, ensuring holistic support for their health needs.
5. Track client progress and adjust exercise plans as necessary to maximise outcomes and maintain motivation.
6. Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment for clients, helping them overcome challenges and stay motivated.
Requirements :
1. A degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field with current accreditation.
2. Experience working with elderly clients, preferably in home-based settings, is highly regarded.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to client care.
4. Ability to create and deliver individual or group exercise programs tailored to specific health needs and goals.
5. Knowledge of safe exercise practices, injury prevention, and the unique needs of aging clients.
6. A passion for promoting health and wellness in older adults, helping them lead active and independent lives.
