Job summary
We are looking for highly motivated nurses who are passionate about the care of patients to join our well-established team in delivering a 24/7 service.
Levington ward is the new exciting regional spinal hub. We focus on the care of elective spinal surgeries and also the care of the Spinal Cord injury patients. This will be for their rehabilitation post trauma or surgery. We are a 12 bedded unit with high speciality needs in both pre and post operative spinal care.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly team who are motivated in promoting the delivery of a patient-centred, clinically effective and dynamic service to our patients.
Main duties of the job
To meet the needs of the Trust with regard to Induction, mandatory and statutory training
To work within the framework for Clinical Governance to provide effective, high quality individualised nursing care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of nursing practice.
To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines
To work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team
