Are you looking for a rewarding role and want to work with one of the biggest UK charities supporting people with learning disabilities?
We are currently looking for new Support Workers to join our fantastic team in Kidwelly. We have both part time and full time (37.5 hours per week) positions available. We can be flexible with the hours offered and welcome all applications from interested candidates. Shift patterns are from 7am-2.30pm, 9am-5.30pm, or from 2.30pm-10pm. We also require waking nights and sleep-ins, so being flexible is important.
In Kidwelly, we support four people aged between 29-56. You will find a variety of hobbies and interests they enjoy, such as arts and crafts, cooking, swimming, shopping, watching sports, and attending rugby matches. The people we support love meeting up with their friends and family often.
The individuals we support also have their own mobility vehicles and enjoy going out into the community on many days out or small road trips, so having a UK Driving Licence for this role is essential.
You will be supporting them to live independently and to access and participate in their local community, while providing excellent care, including personal care, and being attentive and reliable to help them live the lives they want to live.
Every day is different, which is what is great about being a Support Worker at our service in Kidwelly.
Choose Mencap as your next step and apply today, or email Vicky.George@Mencap.org.uk for further details or assistance in applying.
