We’re looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our Watertight Concrete Team
This will be a field-based role covering the North of England and Scotland.

Watertight concrete sales play a vital role in our concrete and waterproofing business unit strategy. We aim to continually grow our market share by maintaining business and generating new customers in this area of the market.
Purpose of the Role
We are looking to recruit a suitable person to replace the existing area manager who has now moved on to another role within the business unit. It is important to maintain the growth and customer base we have developed in the northern region and to maximise potential sales growth.

The Opportunity:
As a member of the watertight concrete team, it will be the responsibility of the individual to manage sales for their geographical area and deliver agreed KPI’s. The successful candidate will work with all members of the wider concrete and waterproofing team to help deliver successful watertight concrete projects. This will include interfacing with contractors, specifiers and concrete producers. There will also be the opportunity to promote many other Sika waterproofing products that complement our watertight concrete system. This will include tanking membranes, liquid coatings and internal drainage systems. This will be an exciting role for a suitable candidate who will be heavily project-focused and sales-driven.

The Support:
The successful candidate will be working with an established and experienced sales team and will be empowered and supported when running their individual sales area. We have a dedicated waterproofing technical team that will be on hand to help deliver a successful project in conjunction with the sales team.
The Skills:
The Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales growth within the construction industry (Preferably with Concrete & Waterproofing) and a sound understanding of structural waterproofing strategies (CSSW Qualification will be an advantage). They should have strong I.T and reporting skills, be an excellent communicator, and most importantly be an all-round team player.

What we need from you?
* CSSW Qualification (Desired but not essential)
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proficient in I.T (PowerPoint / Word / Excel / Specification writing/ maintaining CRM System)
* Negotiation skills
* Ability to read structural drawings
* A proven sales record in the construction industry
