RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our UK agency is recruiting for a HVAC Engineer M/F as Technical Lead to manage the Hinkley Point C HVAC contract. This is a valuable and technically stimulating opportunity to support Hinkley Point C with a specific focus on the configuration follow-up, in close collaboration with the layout and HVAC system teams.
The position will be based in Bristol, in a permanent contract.
1. Managing and coordinating the processing of Design Changes (follow-up DC opening to closure, monitoring the progress and the stakeholders contributions, representing in committees..)
2. Keeping up to date the Contract HPC/SZC KPI (Design changes, surveillance, manufacturing, NCR, OP, TQs)
3. Coordinate the progress of the team documents surveillance issued on the Contractor deliverables.
4. Coordinate the progress of the team treatment of the Non-Conformance reports issued by the Contractor.
5. Coordinate the progress of the team treatment of the technical queries issued by the Contractor.
6. Produce the annual surveillance report for the contracts.
7. Serving as the representative of the Responsible Designer HVAC contract team in various meetings with NNB and the supplier.
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Mechanical, Nuclear Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience of project configuration management.
3. Knowledge and experience in TeamCenter data centric tool or equivalent.
4. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel KPIs, word and Power-BI
5. HVAC knowledge of Pressurised Water Reactor system design principles
6. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, both written and orally, in English
