Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Part time Chef / Cook to join our team working at RAF Lossiemouth, Inverness, IV31 6SD
You will be responsible for managing production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage and be supportive of new team members to support them with their learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.

⦁ This is a part-time position, 30 hours per week, working 4 days out of 7 including some weekend shifts. Shifts range between 6am and 6:30, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work within culinary.
⦁ The hourly rate is £11.99.

A day in the life of a Cook:
⦁ Cooking and preparing food ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner services ensuring minimal wastage. Providing fine dining (silver service level) for functions/hospitality events.
⦁ Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
⦁ Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals
⦁ Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
⦁ Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries. Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.
⦁ Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
You will be set up for success if you have:
⦁ Relevant culinary qualification is desirable however we will also consider experience and cheffing knowledge!
⦁ Excellent team player and communicator.
⦁ Security checks and DBS required for this role, therefore you must be 18+.
⦁ Flexibility and the ability to innovate.
