Field Maintenance Operative – North East
Location: Covering Dignity Funeral Director branches within the North East region.
Full time, permanent, 38.33 Hours per week - occasional weekend work.
Salary: £25,000 per annum

As a Field Maintenance Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining the facilities and grounds of our branches, ensuring they remain pristine, professional, and comforting for every visitor.

This role will suit someone who:
* Has previous experience in a maintenance, repair, or facilities role.
* Holds a Full UK Manual Driving License.
* Is physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on, active role.
* Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Here is what a typical day could look like for you:
* Work closely with colleagues in branch to address maintenance requests promptly.
* Refresh and maintain the interiors and exteriors of our funeral director branches to the highest standard.
* Carry out minor property repairs.
* Repair and refurbish furniture, fixtures, and fittings as needed.
* Undertake general grounds duties, including hedge trimming, lawn mowing, and jet washing.
* Conduct and document regular property inspections.
* Regional travel between branch locations to provide maintenance support as required.
