What is the role?
To promote and provide a Justice social work service through the use of professional assessment and analysis of collated information, identify goals and the focus of intervention and appropriate resources. Implement review and evaluation case management plans; monitor, review and evaluate action plans to respond to changing services users and relevant partners risk and needs; and effectively communicate with all relevant parties. To promote social inclusion, work sensitively with diversity and in an anti-discriminatory way. Carry out these tasks within the framework of relevant legislation and Council policy and procedures.

The Grade of this post is Grade 3/ Level10, the hourly rate is £23.90.
It should be noted that successful candidates will be placed on a bank list and contacted to work dependent on service requirements.
These posts areconsidered to be Regulated Work with adults and children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
