About the Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of key accounts offering travel health services: retail pharmacists, travel health specialists, private GPs, NHS GPs, and practice nurses. A significant portion of our key accounts are located in the London area and SW England/Wales; hence your location should be within a reasonable distance.
You will work closely with the existing commercial team and the medical affairs lead in the UK, playing a pivotal role in achieving sales objectives and collaborating with the implementation of marketing initiatives. The role reports to the UK Country Director.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop long-term relationships with key accounts
2. Conduct strategic market analyses to identify new business opportunities
3. Work with the commercial team to achieve the sales objectives
4. Deliver product information to healthcare professionals
5. Contribute to the development of client communication materials
6. Provide input on the rolling forecast and marketing budget
What We're Looking For:
1. Minimum of 4 years of experience focused on vaccine sales
2. Proven track record in fieldwork, spending up to 70% of your time with clients
3. Strong planning, analytical, and communication skills combined with very strong customer relationship instincts
4. Full proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential
5. ABPI Qualification (the Advanced Professional Program for Industry Personnel)
6. Ability to work independently and thrive in a small team environment
