Role Purpose
We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth in our recycling operations, with a specific focus on expanding our plastic and paper recycling customer base.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and prospect new customers across diverse industries
* Specialise in sourcing LDPE film for our in-house processing system
* Develop and manage a growing portfolio of recycling clients
* Conduct comprehensive site inspections and material quality assessments
* Generate and follow up on sales leads
* Prepare detailed quotations and account management documentation
* Utilise Microsoft Office software for reporting and communication
* Perform regular customer outreach via calls, emails, and in-person visits
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven track record in Business Development or Sales
* Preferably with experience in the waste and recycling industry
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a diverse client portfolio
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Essential Requirements:
* Valid driving licence
* Ability to travel to client sites in surrounding areas
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Working Arrangements
* Primary base: Winsford depot
* Flexible working model including on-site and remote prospecting
