Childcare Assistant Apprenticeship – Level 2 – Maybury Montessori
The Aspire Training Team is currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join Maybury Montessori as a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice.
Maybury Montessori is designed to feel as much like home as possible for our children from the age of 6 months to 4 years. Our teachers are a dedicated team who are passionate about what they do, their main aim being to give each child confidence and a love of learning.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children.
2. Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive.
3. Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and share information about children’s development and well-being.
4. Observe and assess children’s development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans.
5. Support children’s personal care needs.
6. Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming setting.
7. Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors.
8. Attend staff meetings.
9. Follow Montessori ethos.
Requirements:
1. You must be able to obtain a clear DBS.
2. Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
Hours:
For this position, the candidate would be working 40 hours per week, with shifts between the setting’s opening hours of 08:00 am and 18:00 pm.
