We are seeking a Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist passionate about helping individuals with complex mental health needs. This is a part-time role, working 32 hours per week.

About Newton House
Cygnet Newham House is a 20-bed neuropsychiatric care and treatment facility dedicated to rehabilitation for women affected by acquired brain injuries (ABI). The hospital provides a safe, secure environment to support recovery and manage symptoms of progressive neurological diseases such as Huntington's Disease.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) as a Psychologist
* Conduct psychological assessments and provide therapy to individuals and groups
* Develop care plans collaboratively with the MDT
* Provide training, supervision, and consultation to colleagues and teams
* Evaluate services, contribute to development, and conduct clinical research
* Disseminate outcomes through conference presentations and publications
Candidate Requirements
* HCPC registered Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist with experience in clinical, forensic, or mental health settings
* Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema Focused Therapy, Cognitive Analytical Therapy, or Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
* Passionate about working with individuals with diverse complex mental health needs
* Capable of managing difficulties like self-harm, aggression, sexual offending histories, and substance issues
